This painting came to existing just when the Ukrainian war started. This tragedy affected me strongly and so I wanted this painting to represent the contrast of humanity and its exact opposites. I believe, it is possible to keep an unusual friendship, which, at first, doesn’t seem to make any sense … well, I wish people took a moment to consider our human capability in use, open their heart and see the world differently … because, it is magic. The magic of being empathetic, accepting the worlds differences and beauty. Now, in Ukraine, not only soldiers, civilians fight, not only children and elderly or sick people suffer enormously, but also animals. Animals who cannot help themselves, who die not knowing what’s happening in their asylum cages or in the streets, full of fear and pain they can’t understand. Well, I am praying for all of them and I am sending all my energy to people and animals suffering in war they did not ask for and wish for a quick recovery of peace and peaceful life for everyone. The bear and the bird represent weird partnerships that can emerge when we get into difficult situations. We can do this, together! So let’s.
