Homesickness and loss of home can take its toll and affect people's health and mood. In this day and age, all around us, not far from us and our homes, crimes are happening today and every day that deprive people, children, and animals of their homes, of what so many have lovingly cared for and lived for. They are losing their living space to which they are accustomed and are forced to live in an asylum, in a foreign country, or in alternative dwellings and shelters, and it is this kind of testimony that always makes me feel sorry for all this and also for the thoughts that weigh on me and make me much more aware today of what an incredible happiness it is to have a home of one's own, however simple or poor it may be. It means nothing. Our homes are ours, no one is forcing us out of them, and we can always return to them to be with our loved ones, to rest and to have our privacy. Let us cherish it. I appreciate it, and I feel immense gratitude today and every day that no one is forcing us out of our homes and that we can cherish them and enjoy their security. May those who are not currently experiencing that happiness be able to do so as well.
