"Benny's home"

Anyone who knows my work at least a little bit knows that all my paintings have a story. This one has one too. But it's a little different. I took on an exceptional commission. I don't often do it, nor do I like to do it, because I don't like to take the risk that my clients' ideas won't meet the connection between my head, hand and brush. Yet, from the very first communication with the very pleasant Ms. Jana, I somehow knew that this time it would not happen and that everything would simply work out. From the first inquiries about the content of the painting, its purpose and the way of processing, I learned that "love" would be the creator. And that love lives at Benny's house. That love is between two people who have incredibly deep, beautiful and passionate feelings for each other, and Benny is watching over it. This image is an effort to visualize the unrealistic, yet omnipresent. And Benny the dog is there. These two people are soul mates, and I was very honored to be able to get just a tiny glimpse into their intimate world. Their own infinite world filled with everything that makes us human. And so I just wish that every time these two people look at this painting, it stirs all those beautiful feelings in them again and again, reminding them daily, in the privacy of their beautiful home, of what they have and that it is special.
