Autumn has been my favorite season for quite some time. I enjoy its romance and the conditioning it inadvertently provides for me to create. And so a painting about a special friendship in a special abode came to mind, and I thought of Rack Jonathan and what he once said.
"If you want to be happy, find out what you love most of all. Throw yourself into that love with courage, perseverance and utmost determination. The reward for your efforts will be rejection and exclusion from the fellowship of your friends and loved ones. But if you refuse to give up, if you survive the loneliness and hold fast to your love, you will find that you have new friends, a new family who share your values and ideals."
And so I wish all my autumn neighbours a good quiet winter's night.
